Leopardo started as a solo project in 2016, recording psychedelic lo-fi love songs by himself. The solo album was released in november 2018. The follow-up 'Is It An Easy Life?' has been recorded live and mixed with members of the Pussywarmers. The nine songs are talking about the fears and the passion of love, depression, oppressive working life and a hangover generation. Influenced by Syd Barrett, the Velvet Underground, the Stooges and the Country Teasers, Leopardo mixes the sweetness of psych love songs with the rawness of a lo-fi punk sound and one or two chords primitive jams, expressing love, happiness, fear and melancholy.

Consisting of the sons of American diplomats in Paris, Les Irrésistibles was a psychedelic pop group that topped the French charts with the dlightfully orchestrated gem 'My Year Is A Day' in 1968. The song is also featured on the band's sole album, 'The Story Of Baxter Williams', which was released in 1969. This awaited reissue adds the bonus tracks 'She And I' and 'Sunshine And You'.

Repress of 200 copies on transparant green vinyl. Though few people realized it back in 1968, The Outsiders 'CQ' (pronounced as "Seek You") was a landmark album for the Dutch music scene, and the crowning achievement for one of Holland's greatest bands. Had it been released by a British or American band, 'CQ' might be mentioned today in the same breath as 'Ogden's Nut Gone Flake', 'Odessey & Oracle', 'S.F. Sorrow', 'White Light/White Heat', and 'We're Only In It For The Money', all iconic underground rock albums released that same tumultuous year. The album was recorded at G.T.B. Studios in The Hague and the Soundpush Studios in Blaricum during the summer of 1968. For the first time the group had the luxury of uninterrupted studio time, so the musicians were able to work out ideas right there in the studio, rolling tape as they went, then listening back and discussing what changes should be made. 'CQ Mythology' presents these session tapes, giving listeners a fascinating glimpse into the bands creative process as they shaped the songs that would eventually comprise the 'CQ' album. The original releases striking gatefold cover art, designed by artist Anton van der Gulik, was supposed to fold out into four rather than two panels. But apart from the album sleeve that Polydor has released, Van der Gulik made a second design. His four unused iron plate panels now house this 'CQ Mythology' release, a sprawling double-album that stands as a kind of shadow version of the final album. It's a compelling document of a true masterwork-in-progress. SIDE 1: 1. Misfit 3:22 - Instrumental, stereo 2. Misfit 3:16 - Vocal, mono 3. C.Q. 4:13 - Instrumental, stereo 4. Kari Peitsamo, a legend of Finnish outsider music, began his career back in the late '70s, and over the years, his albums released by Love Records have become very difficult to obtain and valuable. The folk/art rock album 'Vedestä Nouse Kasvi' from 1978 was written by Jaakko Riihimaa.

This album contains the tracks recorded by Dutch freakbeat/psych-pop bands Penny Wise, Amsterdam and Peter Bewley (pseudonym of singer Peter van Asten). Lovers of Nederbeat, Dutch Baroque pop and lite pop-psych will surely fill this record between their genres faves. Thanks to Dutch music export Erik Meinen this selection is now available again with such a rich and detailed liner notes insert. It was about time these songs would be rediscovered and newly presented in all their splendor.

Frank Herbert once said, "without change something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens." On 'Osiris Hayden', PH (formerly Mr. Peter Hayden), have shed their blistering, snake-like skin and wound their unusual path into a new garden of unearthly delights. Still referring to themselves simply by the PH monogram, their fifth full-length release embraces a deep symbolic form of rebirth and regeneration. Like an Ostrobothnian Föllakzoid, experimental electronic soundscapes pulverise with panache and a pop-like sensibility. 'Osiris Hayden' is contemporary Finno-Ugric krautrock, in keeping with the band's earlier work but much more cinematic in scope than ever before. Vangelis-inducing, distorted Blade Runner landscapes give way to the march of slick Terminator machines crushing human bones under foot. Psychonaut futurism from a band fusing genres ahead of their own time, and in a strange but logical evolution of the PH journey.

The Svart Mondo series is dedicated to bringing some of the most obscure, fascinating records that time forgot back into the spotlight. Curated by the Svart team of dedicated music nerds and specialists, Svart Mondo is a showcase of a musical era long gone, collected from many unusual and less traveled parts of the world. The series commences with two pieces of hard psychedelic progressive rock from the early '70s from Argentina. Plus, from Buenos Aires, begun in 1975 and released the album 'No Pisar El Infinito' ('Do Not Step On The Infinite') the following year. Plus performed hard-hitting heavy rock with progressive leanings, much influenced by Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad and the like, with a Latin flavor and excellent musicianship. The album, released on the local T.K. label, has since become a very rare collector's item and has not been reissued on vinyl, until now. Limited to 500 copies.

Reissue of 1989 debut EP. Few bands have been haunted by a musical comparison as much as Jacksonville, FL's Rein Sanction. Virtually no review or article related to them can go by without pointing out the similarities between themselves and Dinosaur Jr. They both make the same brand of sludge pop, but this trio managed to stay a band effort, unlike J. Mascis' monopolization of Dinosaur Jr.

Some of the best thrills of the Internet music revolution is the ability to find extremely rare music with great ease. But even with such vast archives to draw from, quite a lot of great songs have gone undiscovered for nearly half a century -- particularly in genres that lacked hifalutin arty pretense. Previously, only the most extremely dedicated and passionate record collectors had the stamina and prowess to hunt down long forgotten wonders in dusty record bins -- often hoarding them in private collections, or selling at ridiculous collector's prices. Legendary compilations like 'Nuggets', 'Pebbles', ad nauseum, have exhausted the mines of early garage rock and proto-punk, keeping alive a large cross-section of underground ephemera. However, few have delved into and expertly archived the wealth of proto-metal, pre-stoner rock tracks collected on 'Brown Acid'. Lance Barresi, co-owner of L.A./Chicago retailer Permanent Records has shown incredible persistence in tracking down a stellar collection of rare singles from the '60s and '70s for the growing compilation series. Partnered with Daniel Hall of RidingEasy Records, the two have assembled a selection of songs that's hard to believe have remained unheard for so long. "So rare that diehard fuzz junkies say you'd have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding a physical 45 rpm single by one of the bands featured on their latest installment." ~Dangerous Minds. SIDE 1: 1. White Lightning - Prelude To Opus IV 2. Peacepipe - The Sun Won't Shine Forever 3. Magi - Win Or Lose 4. Fiberglass Vegetables - Pain 5. Erik - Rebel Woman SIDE 2: 1. Stonewall - Outer Spaced 2. ICE - Running High 3. Space Rock - Going Down The Road 4. Buckshot - Barstar 5. 29.9 - Paradiddle Blues

Self-titled 1968 album from the Spotnicks reissued with four bonus tracks: 'Old Clock At Home', 'Amapola', 'Hava Naguila' and 'The Outlaws - Space Ship Rendez-Vous'.

Tahiti 80 are as evergreen now as they were when they emerged out of Rouen in the late 1990s, after they released their debut album. Here they bring a best of-collection in a different fashion. 'Fear Of An Acoustic Planet' is a selection of their greatest moments unplugged and re-imagined. Vocalist Xavier, bassist Pedro Resende, guitarist Mederic Gontier and drummer/percussionist Raphael Leger have returned to twelve of their mose popular songs and added new life to them.

Here is the long-awaited fifth volume of the well received electronic compilation series from the Color Tapes label, presenting obscure recordings from the '80s. As with the other volumes you can find great examples of cold wave, minimal wave and synth electronics made by obscure British acts. TRACKS: 01. Void - Isotope 02. Echophase - Silent Sky 03. Vegan straight edge outfit Sect unites vocalist Chris Colohan (Cursed, Burning Love, Left For Dead), guitarists James Chang (Catharsis, Undying) and Scott Crouse (Earth Crisis, The Path Of Resistance), bassist Steve Hart (Day Of Suffering), and drummer Andy Hurley (Racetraitor, The Damned Things). The result is a caustic, riotous, belligerent style of vile hardcore fed by a boundless well of socio-political vitriol. 'Blood Of The Beasts' was recorded with Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. 'Blood Of The Beasts' is ten reflections on the myth of progress, the new old tribalism, the single face of all subjugations, the broken promise of automation, love, loss and obsolescence set against the dying light of a better tomorrow.

Call it new wave, call it punk, call it whatever you want. You have never heard anything like Franck Racket. A breakout artist screaming for vengeance with this debut from Forbidden Place Records! 'Screaming Skull' is the 2019 album from these French punks. Don't snooze on this one! Very limited! Essential. For fans of the Subhumans, LàGoon, Dick Dale, The Ventures, A Flock Of Seagulls, Gary Numan, new wave, old wave, modern rock, old school punk.

Karyn Crisis and Luciano Lamanna, both innovators in their respective fields of music have coiled together to form Serpents, their electronic-and-voice duo project. Karyn Crisis, a pioneer vocalist in the field of metal music since 1993, is known for her far-reaching vocal range. From demon growls to angelic croons and most everything in-between. In Serpents, she explores the hypnotic and repetitive nature of charged words and a stripped-down melodic vocal expression, weaving sonic spells that are no less weird than her vocals for her former band of 13 years Crisis, guest vocals for Italy's Ephel Duath, and her current band Gospel Of The Witches. Luciano Lamanna is an authentic maverick, or better said, a free beater. His core values can be summarised in a handfull of key words: experimentation, analog synths and unconformity with the established norms. As sound engineer, DJ, producer and remixer he never turned down an opportunity of adding his personal touch in fruitful collaborations such as ADSR SPQR, Balance, Der Noir and Creta above all, making dozen of releases and collaboration since 1997. His strength thus lies in the puzzle of sounds which is the fruit of the most desperate of experiences from techno, industrial, wave and electronic - all of which are knowledgeably tessellated through the art of improvisation. Serpents is a journey into otherworldly, strange, and uncomfortable places.

The 'Pyroclasts' album is the result of a daily practice which was regularly performed each morning, or evening during the two week 'Life Metal' sessions at Electrical Audio during July 2018, when all of the days musical participants would gather and work through a 12 minute improvised modal drone at the start and/or end of the day's work. The piece performed was timed with a stopwatch and tracked to two inch tape, it was an exercise and a chance to dig into a deep opening or closing of the days session in a deep musical way with all of the participants. To connect/reconnect, liberate the creative mind a bit and greet each other and the space through the practice of sound immersion. The players across the four pieces are Tim Myidyett, T.O.S., Hildur Gudnadóttir and as always Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson.

Marly Lüske uses a certain sonic vibrancy to arrange like creating sketches on canvas. Each of his almost ten releases extrapolates such a serial approach, like an exhibition. A bit interwoven, but none of the 16 tracks on 'Selected Works' is nebulous or trancy; it is more like watching a work of art proceed. And like a picture, the gist of Tidy Kid's music draws from both sequence and synchronicity. By avoiding to be overwhelming or arbitrary, Tidy Kid moves towards an intelligent form of dance music; not just lo-fi, always considerate. Reminiscent of pop, always experimental.

The 1994 album by Finland's own Motörhead, previously unavailable on vinyl. Limited to 300 copies on black vinyl.

Heavy doom band from Sydney, Australia with 4 girls. From the murky depths of the abyss, heavy riffs and slow mesmeric hymns are celebrated, hypnotizing their followers to join in their rituals and enter the circle of doom.

With 'Leven', Nevel bring 45 minutes of modern and fresh-sounding black metal. This one-track album is well crafted and composed with captivating riffs and sinister keys. The clear and crisp production enhances all aspects of the music: it's fierce without being aggressive, emotion-laden without being downright sad or melancholic. This makes it very real, urgent and in your face.

Son Of The Morning is an occult rock, doom 4 piece from Iowa. From pale grey light of the Midwest, Son Of The Morning was conjured. The band explores the darker side of humanity and inhumanity, tackling subjects such as religion, murder, pagan rites, superstition and worship. If you give the devil an opening, he'll take it...

Italo legend Federico Di Bonaventura a.k.a. Fred Ventura teams up with sound engineer Paolo Gozzetti and they release their first full-length album. The contributions from Francesca Gastaldi feature prominently on this album, which match perfectly with the catchy synthlines. Featuring guest appearances by Alessandra Contini (Il Genio), Martin Blix (Italove) and Francesco Rago. 'Metropoli' is Italoconnection's most daring and dynamic release to date. An album that represents Italo past, present and future; music of vintage class with a modern and cosmopolitan allure.

Nemesis is one of the pioneering acts in the Finnish electronic music scene, representing the more relaxed field of it. Their debut album 'Xcelsior' first saw the daylight in CD form in 1994, and this band-approved double LP marks its vinyl debut. A mixture of pulsating modern electronic sounds, ambient, psychedelia, the progressive vision of synth pioneers of the seventies, celestial geometry and nebular hum. Limited to 500 copies.

With 'Soul Food II', Kognitif remains consistent to his previous release, and delivers once again, a high-powered soul-electro album. The colorful, dancing universe of this beat-maker is filled with hiphop, world music and jazz, mingled with funky triphop beats. Kognitif is a self-taught musician and a triphop and abstract hiphop producer. His music incorporates various influences and offers a plentiful soul groovy funky beats buffet. 'Soul Food II' comes as the second volume of a great collection with the same ingredients, but a different recipee.

'POESIES ET CHANSONS DE LA RESISTANCE TOUAREGS' - Tuareg guitar gets the electronic treatment, with a reissue of the cassette by legendary Nigerien composer Abdallah Oumbadougou. Produced in Benin in 1995, 'Anou Malane' is one of the first studio recordings of Tuareg guitar. The genre, known for minimal folk ballads performed on acoustic guitar, is transformed with a full-on '90s swinging groove.
