'Under Acid Hoof' is this Greek band's second full-length album. The album was recorded in 2019, mixed and mastered by Dionysis Dimitrakos of Descent Studios, who also worked with the band for their debut album back in 2017. Drums were recorded in Dope of Sound Studios in Athens. The album is a direct continuation of the band's self-titled, debut full-length album, but darker, heavier, and fuzzier. Five tracks of doom, each one offering something unique to the opus. It just gets heavier and heavier as you dwell deeper into the album. The father and son duo on guitars offer to the listener a horde of Iommi-style riffs with fuzzy melodies accompanied by doomy riffing, which is supported by wicked bass lines and heavy drumming. The clean mellow vocals add to the mix, and the occasional talk of witchcraft and mammoths can lead to a sublime, heavy experience. The artwork is made by Branca Studio, whoelse could get the spirit of this album and put it on a cover? You have to dig this album loud if you are a fan of Electric Wizard, Monolord, Sleep.

Halfway between London and Madrid, Bifannah is the Spanish answer to the new psych wave from the USA and they sing in Portuguese. Genuine lovers of the west coast pop sound, tropicalia and Latin rhythms from the seventies, Bifannah's members are well known for preserving and promoting kaleidoscopic pop music. 'Maresia' (The John Colby Sect, 2017), their debut LP and a true descendant of the Nuggets school, put them in the front row of the European retro scene: they opened for Allah-Las and Mystic Braves and played at national and international festivals such as Atlantic Fest, MadCool, SXSW (Austin), Barcelona Psych Fest, Festival Marvin in México City and FIB Benicassim.

Bipolaroid's fifth full length album continues the band's 17-year exploration of their self-described "delta-psych" sound with 11 tracks that fuse pop song structure with kaleidoscopic jams. Their particular brand of psych rock blends Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd with proto-punk and indie rock influences, for a sound that's at once modern and familiar.

Dzamble was a legendary Polish jazz-rock band from Krakow. For the first time on vinyl, here are 9 recordings, that made up the only LP ('Wolanie O Slonce Nad Swiatem') of the band in 1971, but this time in original radio versions from 1969-1970. The style of the group is unique mixture of jazz and rock with dominant parts of improvised piano. The vocals are of Polish legendary jazz singer Andrzej Zaucha. The material was remastered straight from the original master tapes and sounds great.

Repress of 150 copies on turquoise vinyl. Recorded, edited and mixed over one long Red Lebanon hash-fueled weekend in October 1969, Group 1850's second album, 'Paradise Now', remains one of the high-water marks of European psychedelia. A wide-eyed, wide-open, synapse-electrifying set of songs, it sounds like the transmissions of a burnt-out satellite spinning through the galaxies of inner space. Group 1850 leader Peter Sjardin skillfully edited the group's free-flowing improvisations into eight cohesive, yet distinctly different tracks, part 'Saucerful Of Secrets', part 'Electric Ladyland', part Guru Guru, part Can circa 'Monster Movie'-era. The album was originally released on Discofoon, the label owned by the Dutch department store chain V&D. It has since become a highly sought-after collectors item. This reissue is packaged in a lavish gatefold sleeve with the original cover artwork, supplemented by rare photos and liner notes by Mike Stax of Ugly Things magazine.

Karkara are an explosive power trio that furiously mixes garage and fuzz with Middle Eastern sounds. Created in 2017 in Toulouse, France, inspired by the psychedelic rock scene of the Middle East and the Maghreb of the '60s and '70s, the band combines its traditional inspirations with a taste for garagefuzz and contemporary krautrock. Even going so far as to use their favourite atypical instrument -the didgeridoo- the three members take pleasure in pushing the boundaries of the genre further and take their audience into a mystical and indomitable world.

Shizuka first came to wider attention at roughly the same time as their peers in the Japanese underground - in the nineties, really, when people started to get wise to the surprisingly wide-ranging post-psychedelic sounds emanating from the PSF label, predominantly, and a few other, similar creative cells. During that window of opportunity, Shizuka only released two CDs on PSF, Persona Non Grata and Last Visible Dog. It's not that much to go by, which is why An'archives' 'Paradise Of Delusion' (recorded live in 2001) is a most welcome, not to mention much-needed, posthumous collection. For the first time ever, Shizuka is now released on vinyl. Even by the standards of their closest peers, aesthetically speaking -Fushitsusha (with whom they shared two members, Maki Miura and Jun Kosugi), Kousokuya, Ché-SHIZU- Shizuka were a mysterious, occluded bunch. Led by the late Shizuka herself, a guitarist, vocalist, song writer, and doll maker, with her husband Miura, a devastatingly powerful guitar slinger, their songs were potent, seductive things: often playing out at a snail's pace, with the same kind of flickering, sensual 'black-and-white psychedelia' as the third Velvet Underground album, or a more languid Les Rallizes Denudes. Edition of 275 copies on black vinyl, with duotone insert, offset insert and postcard set.

Deep on a mind trip aboard the ISS Kingston, we are floating upon the low-gravity armchairs of its 'Disco 3000' cocktail lounge. Brain-dance soundwaves are being distributed by means of the Akuphone, transmitting the psychedelic music of Spiritczualic Enhancement Center. 'Me And My Students Have Reached Higher Levels' presents itself as an obscure and ever-morphing spectral-jazz album. Produced by eight outernational musicians, once originating from Iran, Israel, America, Russia, Romania and Germany, this record carries a distinct centrifugal force. Suspending musical particles out of a brewish stew full of drones, bleeps and feedbacks, we hear a retrofuturistic sound which could have been Big Fun back in 1974. It makes us envision the electric dreams of an artificial intelligence modeled after Lee "Scratch" Perry. Given the task to create a dubby fusion requiem for Bela Lugosi's death, it seems Perry's AI has been applied to a jukebox full of Can's and Sun Ra's 7-inches.

The fusion group Sunbirds was founded by the jazz musicians Klaus Weiss and Fritz Pauer in Munich in 1971, when the two of them had already made a name for themselves. They got Ferdinand Povel, Jimmy Woode and the world-famous guitarist Philip Catherine to join them. The band name Sunbirds was Fritz Pauer's idea, as well as the songs in E major and E minor, carrying titles including the word "sun". E is the sound representing the sun in esotericism. Due to their good connections, they could soon sign a contract with the then newly-founded BASF label. The LP was released in that same year of 1971, simply under the name of 'Sunbirds' (BASF 2021110-2). The picture disc LP was taken from the master tapes, is limited to 1000 numbered copies, and comes with an LP-sized 16-page insert.

This sturdy package consists of over 90 minutes of Tasavallan Presidentti on stage in 1972 performing live renditions of material from their most progressive album 'Lambertland'. The package offers a unique view into how the band moulded and twisted the songs live, often creating entirely new work in the process. Recorded by the Finnish Broadcasting Corporation, the sound quality is excellent.

Limited jubileum edition of 500 copies on gold vinyl. Comes with new interviews with Jukka Tolonen, Frank Robson and Vesa Aaltonen. Originally released in 1970.

A long overdue reissue of Tasavallan Presidentti's 'Lambertland', originally released in 1972. A tight fusion of jazz and folk rock with highly inventive and imaginative lyrics. Comes on gold vinyl.

Virus, from the Bielefeld area in Westphalia, were the best and most famous local progressive group there in the early seventies. In 1970, they won the well-known competition in the Recklinghausen Vestlandhalle - still under their old name of Man's World. The first prize: Recordings for their first own LP, under the direction of sound magician Conny Plank. That LP, 'Revelation', was released in 1971 and is partly reminiscent of the early Pink Floyd, e.g. in the final part of 'Endless Game'. The picture disc edition is limited to 1000 numbered copies and comes with an LP-sized 16-page booklet.

'Earthshine' propels itself way beyond the band's trademark heavy psych and post-rock sound, offering a rich blend of genres and sonic languages shaped during endless jams and live shows. 'Earthshine' was recorded and mixed by Lorenzo Stecconi (Zu, Ufomammut, Lento) and mastered by Luigi Di Filippo at LRS Factory - Recording & Mastering Solutions. The song 'Vacuum' features high class vocalist Vera Claps.

After six years here's another studio album by October Equus featuring eleven compositions. Flute, bassoon, cello and drums joined to the original nucleus composed by Ontalva/Rodriguez/Pazos for this unique collection of contemporary chamber rock showing the unmistakable sound of the Spanish avant-prog group with longer trajectory and more international projection. Yolanda Alba: flute, John Falcone: bassoon, Pablo Ortega: cello, Piotr Talalay: drums, Amanda Pazos Cosse: bass, Víctor Rodríguez: keyboards, Angel Ontalva: guitar.

Repress on purple vinyl. The Sparkles were associated with the garage-band and psychedelic rock scene of 1960s Texas, as epitomized by their classic underground hit 'No Friend Of Mine'. The line-up changed few times before 1962, and Stanley Smith finally recruit Harold "Lucky" Floyd (drums and vocals), Donnie Roberts (guitar) and Bobby Smith (bass). Their first recording was the single 'U.T.' under the small label Caron. This third incarnation proved a great hit among the clubs of West Texas, notably the Music Box and The Village Swinger. Indeed, in 2000, local legend Joe Ely described them as the "city's best rock'n'roll band" in the history of the Lubbock music scene published by Texas Monthly. Interestingly, The Sparkles boasted a pair of drummers, with one, the flamboyant Harold Floyd, also lending his voice to their performances. 1966 would constitute a turning point for The Sparkles. Larry Parks -drummer for Roy Orbison, turned producer in Nashville, Tennessee- invited them to sign with Hickory Records, the historic music label founded by Roy Acuff and Fred Rose in 1954. The band came up with 'The Hip', which proved an immediate hit in Austin and extremely popular within the fraternity scene at the University of Texas. On a roll, The Sparkles then recorded 'Something You Said' followed by 'Jack And The Beanstalk'. In 1967, The Sparkles, already a decade old, recorded their chef-d'oeuvre 'No Friend Of Mine', with Nunn's raging guitar riffs and Floyd's remarkably tense vocals. This fiery tour de force would be consecrated by its inclusion on the first CD set of the legendary compilation 'Nuggets: Original Artyfacts From The First Psychedelic Era, 1965-1968'. Following their final single, 'Hipsville 29 B.C.', for Hickory Records, The Sparkles once again entered rocky waters, with Nunn and Holt finally deciding to throw in the towel in 1968. Floyd, Smith and Marriot immediately set sail for California, along the way renaming their group The Pearly Gate. This brief interlude would include a handful of appearances on the ABC sitcom 'Judd, For The Defense'. Legend has it, they were also scheduled to perform before Bobby Kennedy the evening of his tragic assassination on June 5th 1968... Returning to Texas, Floyd, Smith and Marriot resurrected The Sparkles, bringing into the fold Steve Weisberg, future guitarist for John Denver. But Floyd's departure in 1975 for California to join Red Wilder Blue spelled the end of this group's 15-year musical odyssey, a tumultuous journey typical of such modest rock'n'roll heroes posthumously crowned by multiple thematic compilations. However, the one you're now holding constitutes the very first anthology dedicated to these incredible Texans.

SUO is the solo project of Brooklyn-based musician and artist Saara Untracht-Oakner of Boytoy. The songs on 'Dancing Spots And Dungeons' are a collection of various modes and a spectrum of emotions with a strong focus on songwriting and melody. Drawing inspiration from a range of artists including David Byrne, Prince, Lou Reed, The Supremes, Brian Eno, Grace Jones and Patti Smith. SUO creates something reminiscent and familiar, while simultaneously catchy and fresh. Her stage presence blurs the lines of feminine and masculine energy in a post-gender eruption of power. This project is an amalgamation of more than fifteen years of songwriting, years of national and international touring and an insatiable craving for growth, exploration and creation. 'Dancing Spots And Dungeons' was recorded with producer and engineer Kyle Mullarky. The album features drummer Nick Murray (Paint, Thee Oh Sees, Sasami, Shannon Lay).

LIVE AT NAPA STATE HOSPITAL' - On 13 June 1978, NYC punkabillies The Cramps played a free show for 300 psychiatric patients at the Napa State Hospital. The greatest live show in the history of rock and roll music!!! A unique document of a wild performance where the only folks wilder than the band are the audience!!! SIDE 1: 1. Mystery Plane 2. The Way I Walk 3. What's Behind The Mask? 4. Human Fly SIDE 2: 1. Domino 2. Love Me 3. Twist And Shout 4. T.V. Set

In 1999 Disclose released their response to the greatest hardcore 12" ever released: Discharge's 'Why'. At the time the band was at the peak of their Discharge-era and had perfectly crafted a trademark sound, which shows through on the recording. The chainsaw-sounding double-toned guitar, Kawakami's unmistakable vocals, and a rhythm section firmly based on the Stoke-On-Trent's beat melded together to create a repetitive mantra-like noise chant. Recorded at Grove Cargo and mastered at Studio D-Takt by Jan Jutila, the production is a perfect example of noise not music pressed into vinyl, with both high and low frequencies cutting through the mix without losing any power. Lyrically 'Nightmare Or Reality' focuses on the tragic sights of bullshit fucking war while aurally the record is a full-blown attack on all senses. D-beat raw punk at its best. 20 years on and many times imitated but never duplicated. Originally released by MCR Company, this 20 year anniversary official reissue comes in a printed inner sleeve and heavy board outer sleeve.

Long awaited reissue for an obscure anarcho punk classic! Formed in London in 1977, the Straps released two singles on their Donut label before releasing this 12-track punk rock smasher in 1982, and this is the first reissue since then (let alone a CD compilation on Captain OI! from a few years back, which included a big portion on this LP). Over the years, the Straps shared members with Sex Gang Children, Crisis, UK Subs, Theatre Of Hate, The Damned, P.I.L. and The Wall, and despite the frequent line-up changes they made it to this day alive and kickin'. Nonetheless, this is by far the peak of their career and one the most criminally underrated classic of the UK-82 era. Reissued in a limited edition of 500 copies on the PHR label out of Czech Republic.

On their tenth full-length album Wolfbrigade go deep and they are ruthless. This time they have only submitted to themselves; from recording to production and art work. Working in isolation resulted in sharpened ears and teeth. The ten songs rip into both body and mind, with no holds barred regarding power, substance and melody. This time around, Wolfbrigade's hybrid beast of Swedish hardcore and death metal known as Lycanthro Punk has become even more distinct. These ten tracks of destruction display both a love for '80s metal hooks and intros, as well as primitive hardcore brutality.

The long-awaited reissue of Coil's 1992 album, presented for the first time on vinyl. 'Stolen & Contaminated Songs' was recorded and produced by Coil in 1992. It is comprised of over 60 minutes of outtakes and unreleased songs, evolved during the recording sessions for their prior album, 'Love's Secret Domain'. A wealth of superb material showcasing the diversity of Coil: dark, violent, vivid and fractured, yet cohesive and beautiful. Combined with the latest studio technology and Coil's ever-evolving production skills, 'S&C Songs' walks a fine line between tradition and innovation, continually creating semi-abstract soundscapes with a cinematic quality. Comes on 180 gram black vinyl.

A mysterious sound aurora on the magical paths of the infinite universe of percussion, originally released in 1985 and then almost completley lost. The well-educated drummer Tiziano Tononi, together with David Searcy and Jonathan Scully, while working at the temple of the classical music Teatro alla Scala in Milano decides to realize a personal compendium of sounds using only purcussion instruments. The recordings offer us an amazing concert of sounds with acoustic purity in perfect balance between wild rhythm and deep relaxation. Ecstatic elements of Japan ambient minimalism dialogue with contemporary music solutions (Varese, Ligeti), in the stream of a harmonious fusion of ancient and modern. It's a propitiatory ceremony of supernatural things that open portals of blissfulness, tribal and shamanic darkness, timeless jungles. Between Amazon fires and African safaris, we float in the Asian rivers of meditation, lost in water games, echoes of caves and rocks in the night, synergies of frogs, birds, snakes, marimbas, chimes, gongs, and tubular woods.

The inescapable Muslimgauze classic, finally available again after 25 years! Originally released on the obscure French label T.4 back in 1994, 'Al-Zulfiquar Shaheed' stands out as a major long lost showcase of the glorious early to mid-'90s Muslimgauze period. Four intoxicating suites showcasing Bryn Jones' ability to create lengthy, slow burning and detailed compositions soaked with trance inducing percussive impetus and beautiful -never again to be reproduced- middle eastern atmospheres. Recorded at the legendary Abraham Mosque in Manchester, the album was carefully remastered by Anders Peterson and is lavishly assembled in our custom 6-panel digisleeve packaging. Artwork by Oleg Galay.

Goatburner took off on one burning hot summer night of 2017 in the depths of Helsinki and is formed by the drummer Spider (from Ratface hardcore, cult-chaos outfit Pikakassa and techdeath band Skulmagot) and guitarist/vocalist Kaos (from Morbid Evils and Finnish grindcore legends Rotten Sound). Main idea was to start writing unique songs in vein of the deathmetal heroes fromlate '80s and early '90s with some new spices from negative sludge and powerviolence madness. The duo felt confident about the minimalistic approach and decided to book Chaotic Doom CaveStudios where Goatburner tracked total 13 songs. The first taster of the session, the self-released 'Time To Burn' digital EP, came out in August 2018. The debut album, 'Extreme Conditions', goes through the weather of today, with such unpredictability, that one could not forecast the next riff, tempo, drum beat or lyrical pattern. While 'Time To Burn' might have sounded almost uplifting at times, 'Extreme Conditions' focuses on the negative and disturbing sides of the chaotic forces of nature we have to live in today. It grabs the listener with such power from the introductory 'Dead Alert' to closing track 'Wave Of Doom', that one does not even realize, how quickly the 33 minutes of mayhem passes while listening to it.

Italian sludge merchants Juggernaut return with their most complex, powerful and strongly evocative instrumental record to date. A lysergic menu of cinematic progressive, metallic psychedelia, mellow and disturbing atmospheres.

Mondo Generator are back! A mixture of speed rock, American punk and hardcore with the typical Oliveri style. You can hear the old school roots of Black Flag and Dead Kennedys with a pinch of heavy rock and sometimes shades of stoner. You can feel the dust and the sand of the Californian desert mixed with the rotten smell of a dirty basement used as venue! The songwriting is never ordinary and keeps the listener alive for the duration of the entire album. The vocal melodies are always interesting and give the music its trademark sound. You can definitely hear the punk attitude of QOTSA with whom Nick played for long time.

This is a gem! A rare pearl found in the deep sea, a lost album by Mondo Generator from 2010! The vocals are ripped as usual, some songs are screamed but yet others feature melodic lines. The album has a punk-stoner sound with a desert rock attitude. All the songs are written by Nick Oliveri 'Rex Everything'. The album features a cover of Iggy Pop's 'Dog Food' with Dave Grohl on drums. Nick knows how to surprise us all the time! He picked this lost gem from his secret stash! The artwork is by Bangalore.

The last of the 'No Hits At All' series by mister Nick Oliveri! Dr. Albert Flipout's one CAN band (aka Mickey Pantelous) is back. 'Undercover' is the "band's" fourth album (second on vinyl) and consists of 8 songs, 5½ covers and 2½ originals. 8 tracks that cover all the genres this one man band is involved in, from raw blues to pure rock'n'roll over to after-hours dark cabaret music. SIDE 1: 1. Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode) 2. Catfish Blue (Traditional) 3. Nickels And Dimes (lyrics by Greek Heavy metal band Need) 4. Long, Long Gone (Frankie Lee Simms) SIDE 2: 1. Sweet Child 'O Mine (Guns 'N Roses) 2. Last Night 3. Your Friends (Are Giving Me A Hard Time) 4. Tango 'Till They're Sore (Tom Waits)

This Swedish jazz debut album was recorded spontaneously in one day at this old, beautiful vintage Tambourine Studio in the South of Sweden (Malmö). Sensational jazz kid Olle Vikström and his 4-piece band (drums, upright bass, clavinet/piano and horns) quickly learned the beautiful compositions and recorded it before they knew it too well as Olle wanted the beauty of the first take and the moments of songs just being created. The result is touching. Both playful, unpredictable and also catchy. There are moments when the music reminds you of Charlie Haden and Carla Bley, but most of all this is the sound of a new brilliant jazz composer/artist.

Unique meeting between two masters. Lamine Cissokho is a Griot from Senegal and Manish Pingle is a Indian slide guitar raga master from Mumbai. Here they are meeting in a cozy studio in Sweden -invited by the producer Karl Jonas- and blending and arranging their melodies and compositions into eachother's. The result is breathtaking. Beautiful and intricate. And not like any other's as this is the birth of 'New Continents'! Comes with poster plus liner notes by Cisshoko and Pingle on the back cover.

Cucoma Combo. Above all, the new boiling energy of pan-rhythmic music, the awakening dance of joy, the experimental space for ambitious arrangements and free-improvised parts of colorful horns. From Black Africa to South America, we travel on paths of Congolese soukuss and Amazonian carimbò, between accents of Colombian cumbia, kalimba vibes and tribal voices. We find seeded traces of space-funk and Afrobeat, with amazing acid keyboards and an enchanting female voice. The power of rhythm and in general the whole project are leaded leaded by Marco Zanotti, a multi-faceted drummer and fine poly-percussionist, expert of the African and South American sound universe. With his Classica Orchestra Afrobeat, he proudly took part in outstanding collaborations with Seun Kuti, Sekouba Bambino and Baba Sissoko, as well as a prestigious participation in the Glastonbury Fest.

'Mèdaho' is the debut album from Brooklyn based Afro-funksters Kaleta & Super Yamba Band. Fronted by Afrobeat and Juju veteran Leon Ligan-Majek a.k.a. Kaleta, a native of Benin Republic, 'Mèdaho' draws on the group's shared reverence for the raw, psychedelic Afro-funk sound that captivated Kaleta as a music loving kid in 1970s Benin. 'Mèdaho' means "big brother," "elder" or "teacher" and is dedicated to Kaleta's late brother Ligan-Ozavino Pascal who introduced him to funk and soul music at a very early age. Kaleta's guitar chops would later earn him decades of recording and international touring with Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade, and more recently Lauryn Hill. Now based in New York City, Kaleta has taken the reins and become the frontman for Super Yamba Band, a group known for their sweaty Brooklyn dance parties and original Afro-funk influenced compositions. Mèdaho explores some of the rarest grooves and psychedelic sounds from classic era Benin and Nigeria and brings the highly danceable music back to life!

'DANCING MOGADISHU - SOMALIA 1972-1991' - After being blown away by a few tunes -probably just as you will be after listening to this- Samy Ben Redjeb travelled to the infamous capital city of Somalia in November of 2016, making Analog Africa the first music label to set foot in Mogadishu. On his arrival in Somalia Samy questioned the need for a vehicle full of armed chaperones casually toting Kalashnikovs, deemed necessary to accompany him to the radio station archive every morning, but then began rifling through piles of cassettes and listening to reel-to-reel tapes in the dusty archives of Radio Mogadishu, looking for music that 'swam against the current'. The stars were aligned: an uncovered and unmarked pile of discarded recordings was discovered in a cluttered corner of the building. Colonel Abshir -the senior employee and protector of Radio Mogadishu's archives- clarified that the pile consisted mostly of music nobody had manage to identify, or music he described as being 'mainly instrumental and strange music'. At the words 'strange music' Samy was hooked, the return flight to Tunisia was cancelled. The pile turned out to be a cornucopia of different sounds: radio jingles, background music and interludes for radio programmes, television shows and theatre plays. There were also a good number of disco tunes, some had been stripped of their lyrics, the interesting parts had been recorded multiple times then cut, taped together and spliced into a long groovy instrumental loop. Over the next three weeks, often in watermelon-, grapefruit-juice and shisha-fuelled night-time sessions behind the fortified walls of Radio Mogadishu, Samy and the archive staff put together 'Mogadisco: Dancing Mogadishu - Somalia 1972-1991'. 'Mogadisco' was not Analog Africa's easiest project. Tracking down the musicians -often in exile in the diaspora- to interview them and gather anecdotes of golden-era Mogadishu has been an undertaking that took three years. Tales of Dur-Dur Band's kidnapping, movie soundtracks recorded in the basements of hotels, musicians getting electrocuted on stage, others jumping from one band to another under dramatic circumstances, and soul singers competing against each other, are all stories included in the massive booklet that accompanies the compilation - adorned with no less then 50 pictures from the '70s and '80s. As Colonel Abshir Hashi Ali, chief don at the Radio Mogadishu archive -someone who once wrestled a bomber wielding an unpinned hand-grenade to the floor- put it: "I have dedicated my life to this place. I'm doing this so it can get to the next generation; so that the culture, the heritage and the songs of Somalia don't disappear." TRACKS: 01. Daraadaa Muxibo - Dur Dur Band 02. Hab Isii - Omar Shoolil 03. Check Up My Head - Mukhtar Ramadan Idii 04. Geesiyada Halgamayow - Bakaka Band 05. Waa Kaa helaa - Fadumo Qassim & Waaberi Band 06. Sirmaqabe - Iftin Band 07. Baayo - Mukhtar Ramadan Idii 08. Hoobeya - Shimaali & Killer 09. Shaleedayaa - Dur Dur Band 10. Ladaney - Dur Dur Band 11. Gobonimada Jira - Bakaka Band 12. Ii Ooy Aniga - Iftin Band

The prolific Kink Gong (aka Laurent Jeanneau) returns in a unique duet with one of the most prominent artists of the Chinese avantgardist scene Li Daiguo. Kink Gong and Li Daiguo first met in Chengdu (capital of Sichuan Province, China) while playing the same night at the Jahbar music venue. A few months later, as they become neighbors in Cai Cun, a village near the old town of Dali (Yunnan), Kink Gong begins recording Daiguo playing Pipa, Cello and Zheng. He then proceeded to deconstruct these recordings while adding voices that he mainly recorded in Yunnan Province. This fantastic combination of field recordings, experimental folk melodies and electronic treatment leads us to a fourth underground universe reminiscent of Jon Hassell's finest hours.

'Saz U Dilan' is the second solo album of Rizan Said. After 'King Of Keyboards', released in 2016 by Discrepant, this release brings you the most exciting Kurdish-Syrian dance music to your ears. Surrounded by young local singers, Rizan offers his own interpretation of the modern dabke through eight original uptempo compositions full of energy. Rizan Said is a composer, musician and producer, responsible for hundreds of Syrian recording industry productions as well as compositions and themes for television and cinema. Hailing from Ras Al Ain, in northeastern Syria, Rizan was a musical prodigy from a young age - a gifted player of percussion and reed instruments before a wealth of synthesizers began flooding Syria in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Steadfast on the Syrian cassette album circuit at the time, Rizan was already sending his signals out from the Jazeera frontier, thanks to a partnership with local Syrian producer Zuhir Maksi. Later, he was the man behind Omar Souleyman's music and have recorded and toured accross the world with him. Nowadays, he performes as a solo artist and brings the original dabke dance sounds of Syria to European festivals and concerts.
