USA import. Exact repro vinyl reissue (including reproduced gatefold sleeve) of a totally unique LP from 1972. This album was the work of French arranger Jean Leccia. Featuring superb vocalists, Leccia's arrangements are a mix of soulful, bouncy jazz-funk and both dreamy and sunny pop. It's sweet and slow at times, but with some majestically groovy moments at others. All in all the style (at times) reminds of some of the best European vocal groovers of the era, mixed with a healthy dose of California sunshine pop! The result sounds like the Free Design meeting up with The Fifth Dimension, Friends Of Distinction and/or Black Magic! Suitable for a mellow funky rendezvous at the local sophisti-lounge.
