Assembled by hit producer Norrie Paramor with Billy Bell, Bert Weedon, Steve Gauna, Jack Llewellyn, Joe Fenton and George Elliott, the Big Ben Banjo Band arrived as the banjo was enjoying something of a revival. The LP 'More Minstrel Melodies' (released in the UK by Columbia) became their only hit album, spending a solitary week at #20 in 1960.
