Original copies of this album by Egisto Macchi are rare! VERY RARE! In fact, 'Africa Minima' was pressed (by Ayna Records in 1972, probably not even for an official release!) in an extremely limited edition of which nowadays only one or two copies are known to exist. In other words, this vinyl reissue is more than welcome! Especially since the music, composed for an obscure documentary back in the day, is awesome! On offer are exciting percussive sounds, both minimal and experimental, and with many appealing twists and turns. With the sound taken from the master tapes, this reissue is limited to 500 copies.
