On vinyl, here's a collection of 1978 recordings by a band from New York City that actually was founded in Philadelphia (in 1974 as Pretty Poison). These recordings reveal traces of early NYC-punk and metal. Back in the day Pure Hell shared stages with a.o. New York Dolls, Sid Vicious, Wayne County & The Electric Chairs, The Dead Boys, Richard Hell, The Germs, The Cramps and more. In 1978 Pure Hell toured the UK where they were supported by a.o. UK Subs. 'Noise Addiction' was previously issued in the USA in 2006.
