The second line-up of the multinational jazz-rock fusion band Mahavishnu Orchestra recorded 'Apocalypse' in 1974 together with the London Symphony Orchestra. George Martin was responsible for producing this brand new sound from the band. Jazz fusion and progressive rock blended together in this energetic mix of harmonies and epical orchestrations. John McLaughlin lyrical and fiery guitar sound takes an important role in the musical direction of the album. Comes on 180 gram vinyl.
