Shirley Wahls' professional career began with some vocal gospel groups before trying her hand on secular music around the mid 1960s. Between 1967 and 1976 she had released eight 7" singles on different labels. The two songs featured on this 7" are probably her funkiest recordings and were long overdue for an official reissue.
