'THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS' - Emerging from the ashes of Southend-based late sixties psych-pop crew Cardboard Orchestra, heavy rockband Zior were one of the first acts to attach themselves to the occult-themed heavy rock element of the British underground scene. Although Zior never really threatened to replicate the commercial success of brand leaders Black Sabbath, their live shows were hugely theatrical events. They also left behind three albums that have been wildly collectable for many years: 'Zior', 'The First Monument' and 'Every Inch A Man'. All three albums, plus Zior's 2018 reunion album 'Spirit Of The Gods', are now collected for the first time on 'Before My Eyes Go Blind', a 4CD box with replica album sleeve wallets, a lengthy new essay on the band and a number of evocative, previously unpublished photos.

STERBA, NOAH - THE 13-BAR BLUES

JOHN'S CHILDREN - A STRANGE AFFAIR: THE SIXTIES RECORDINGS (2CD)

On DOUBLE-CD, here's the complete output from the quintessential cult '60s mod/psych band. Controversial, sharply dressed and -for a short, yet notable period- featuring Marc Bolan, John's Children is the stuff of legend. This collection includes three tracks by pre-John's ... read more »

MONTGOMERY, ROY - H: BENDER

MONTGOMERY, ROY - H: BENDER

The third release in a four-album collection. 'H: Bender' harkens back to Roy's '90s work, where guitar riffs ensconced themselves in dynamism. Montgomery's trademark reverb-laden guitar offers a fluidity like pulsing blood, colouring in each motif's corner and rewarding ... read more »
