Reissue of Emma Baloka's album 'Freedom', published in Nigeria in 1982. This exceptional guitarist born in Cameroon had been influenced by music from the USA and the UK. Emma got inspired by funk and he expressed his talents in Afro-funk in the 1980s. His debut album, released at the age of 21, was a collaboration with the legendary band Mighty Flames. Later he became a guitarist for Nigeria's biggest disco-funk stars Kris Okotie, Eric Kol and Harry Mosco to name just a few.
