Birge/gorge

Avant Toute

In 1974, Jean-Jacques Birgé, one of the first French synth players, and viruoso guitarist Francis Gorgé created some unique improvised pop music. These unreleased and flamboyant recordings, presented here as 'Avant Toute', would be the source for the 1975 cult album 'Défense De', credited to Birgé, Gorgé, Shiroc, before they founded Un Drame Musical Instantané with Bernard Vitet. 'Avant Tout' is limited to 700 copies on black and white vinyl, and packaged in heavy reverse sleeves with obi strips. The LP includes an insert with photos and liner notes by Jean-Jacques Birgé and Francis Gorgé.
