Golden Apes is back with their eleventh album, after their EP 'From The Sky' from 2023. The album offers a masterclass in instrumentation, showcasing nuances, electronic elements and instrument purity executed flawlessly. The Berlin-based outfit has been known as a shimmering gem in the wave- and post-punk scene. Lead by charismatic lead singer Peer Lebrecht, as he presents his poetic and dark-melancholic lyrics, sustained by catchy but complex melodic arrangements. The band combines certain influences from acts like Joy Division, The Cure, Sisters Of Mercy, Bauhaus and even Psychedelic Furs. Comes in digipak including 16-page booklet.
