Joy Unlimited

Reflections

In 1973 singer Joy had quit het group Joy Unlimited, which then was fronted by Ken Traylor. The LP 'Reflections', released by BASF (as the Pilz label had folded) featured music that was written and recorded for a ballet perfomance at the National Theater in Mannheim. This is another exquisite progressive rock album, which incorporates elements of jazz, blues, and folk. Amongst the instruments we hear are flute, saxophone and keyboards This LP-reissue is extended with two bonus tracks taken from their 1972 single on Pilz, 'Early Morning Moanin' b/w 'Proud Angelina'. Also included is a deluxe 16-page LP-sized insert.
