Aquemarropa

This is the first-time reissue on vinyl of the hard to find first album 'Aquemarropa' of the Uruguayan band LadyJones. It was recorded in 1996 on AYUI label, edited on CD only. The main exponent of the band's music is Uruguayan candombe jazz, attractively mixed with funk and soul with Afro roots. LadyJones represents a generation of which few survivors remain and with a way of making music that is very unlikely to be repeated again. Remastered from the original tapes.
