Minimal basement kraut/synth moves from the UK, originally on cassette in 1981, now on CD! MYSTERY PLANE was formed in 1980 by ex-members of new wave band 3D5, which also included future Cure-member Porl Thompson. The band was influenced by a.o. Neu, Amon Düül II and 'Vienna' period Ultravox. Guitarist Gerald O'Connell was a big fan of Ash Ra Tempel's guitarist Manuel Göttsching, and this album clearly reflects that influence. Digipack edition of only 500 copies, with two excellent bonus tracks not on the vinyl edition.
