Formed by a trio of musicians from Rennes, The Soap Opera was originally born by the desire to compose simple pop music while the three members were still in the psychedelic Sudden Death Of Stars. Against the fog of shoegaze horizons, The Soap Opera contrasted pop conciseness and the light of pure melody. This collection of songs entitled 'Back On Tracks' is a luminous album that engages reflections on the passage of time, parenthood, the disappearance of loved ones, and asks important questions in life.
