Aura, a Bay Area 1976 underground classic. Originally meant to be called Sativa (you'll hear why), it blends heavy funk, fuzz guitars, female vocals, and trippy grooves. Tracks like `Sativa' and `Skyrocket' are absolute monsters. Formed in '74, they gigged all over NorCal, but this was their only album. It's become a serious collector's item and is now reissued from the original master tapes, with bonus tracks. Eddie Weiss from '60s garage legends The Lemon Drops is on guitar. Great addition for funk heads, soul diggers, and vintage psych collectors.
