The Jazz Message Of
Recorded in early 1956 by Rudy Van Gelder and released on Savoy in the same year 'The Jazz Message' is the fruit of one of those great studio sessions based on the grouping of some high class jazz musicians. Here we have Hank Mobley on tenor sax, Donald Byrd on trumpet, Horace Silver on piano, Kenny Clarke on drums, John La Porta on alto sax, Doug Watkins on bass, Wndell Marshall on bass and Ronnie Ball on piano. This is highly swinging hard bop performed by a bunch of stellar musicians at the peak of their game. A must for all straight jazz fans out there.
