Crude Texas garage punk version different from Askel label. This is so good, they released it twice. First on Umi in 1966, then they messed around with it and released it on Askel, Which is best, Nuts to you pal, they both are. They came from Abelene Texas and cut three singles in all, Come Back Bird is two of them. This has been comped more times than Slade's Merry Xmas, but it sounds brilliant every time. Cool circular guitar hook over a back-breaking beat. This is why people spend butt-loads of money on original garage 45s. This is that good.
