'In The Fade' (German title: 'Aus Dem Nichts') is a 2017 German drama film written and directed by Fatih Akin. It stars Diane Kruger as Katja Sekerci, a German woman. Katja's life collapses after the death of her husband and son in a bomb attack. After a time of mourning and injustice, Katja seeks revenge. While the original title translates to 'Out Of Nowhere' in English, the English title is taken from the song of the same name by American rock band Queens Of The Stone Age, whose lead singer, Joshua Homme, wrote the film's score. Director Fatih Akin is a fan of Queens Of The Stone Age and approached Homme to tell him that he had been listening to the band as he wrote the script. The soundtrack of 'In The Fade' also includes songs by Faith No More, Courtney Barnett, Queens Of The Stone Age, Lykke Li and Hindi Zahra. Comes on 180 gram vinyl.
