Jones, Berkely Ike

Nation Building

'Nation Building' is a real forgotten gem from the late '70s and among the very best Afro-beat disco LP's ever. BLO's founder and guitarist Berkely Ike Jones is one of the icons of the Nigerian rock scene. He also played with many other bands and contributed to f.i. Ofege's 'Try And Love' album and recordings of artists s.a. Steve Black, Lijadu Sisters, Tee Mac, Kris Okotie, Sonny Okosun's Ozziddi, 'Blackman' Akeeb Kareem, Mixed Grill, Don Bruce & The Angels and Felix Lebarty. He also toured with Ginger Baker. 'Nation Building' is his solo LP from the late 1970s, released on Skylark Records. The original LP is extremely rare and very expensive, so this is your chance to grab a copy at a normal price.
