Silent Ones
When Wolfgang Maiwald surprisingly debuted with the CD 'Two Faces' in 2010, he insinuated to his listeners that he was showing two audile faces. One emanating the influence of rock and pop from the eighties, the other one enlightened by the inspiring jazz performances of pianists like Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett and Chick Corea. In retrospective, one might conclude that Maiwald was looking for his own voice. With 'The Silent Ones' he appears to have found it.
