On their fourth full-length release for Get Hip records, the Mullens have mastered the happy mix of 77 punk-rock and 60s garage to create a sound all their own. That is no news to long time fans who have fancied their anthemic, riff-rippin and foot stompin brand of garage rock since their first album back in 1997. But loyal fans and newcomers will be pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the songwriting on the new tracks. They even add a new dimension with jangly Byrds-ian chords in some songs!
