The music on guitarist/composer Kim Myhr's 2017 release 'You/Me' can be called oceanic. What we're dealing with here is a tidal flow of immersive sound saturated with the flotsam and jetsam of incidental detail. There are guest appearances from Tony Buck (The Necks), Ingar Zach (Huntsville, Dans Les Arbres) and Hans Hulbaekmo (Atomic, Moskus, Broen). Once the pulse gets underway, listening to 'You/Me' could be a stoner's delight, like staring at the pattern in a carpet until it starts to take on a life of its own.
