Opera Multi Steel

Stella Obscura (silver)

'Stella Obscura' is the fourth Opera Multi Steel studio album. It was originally released in 1992 on the band's own label Orcadia Machina. The album takes its Latin title 'Stella Obscura' (The Mysterious Star) from a German medieval text used by Carl Orff for one of his works 'Ludus De Nato Infante Mirificus'. The band develops on this record its particular style made of a mix of minimal wave, synthetic pop and folk, baroque and medieval influences on surrealist lyrics written by lead singer Patrick L. Robin. Opéra Multi Steel perfectly matches synthesizers and drum machines with recorders, guitars, bow psaltery and various acoustic percussions. Silver vinyl version without CD.
