Paper Lips is the solo-project of Mike Whittaker from The Baron Four. Far from his previous English-inspired 'Rhythm'n'Beat' à la Milkshakes and early Kinks, he dwells here into the spaced-out sounds of Spaceman 3, Spiritualized and Brian Jonestown Massacre. Slow motion tremolo and psyched fuzz guitar, languid vocals and floating drones. The LP features nine original songs and a cover of the 13th Floor Elevators' 'Splash 1'!
