Jours De Greve

During some days of recording jam sessions in Paris, Detlef Weinrich and his musical collaborator Emmanuelle Parrenin created 'Jours De Greve'. With the help from Gilbert Cohen, French avant-garde saxophone player Quentin Rollet an experimental voice artist Ghedalia Tazartes, they transformed impulsive emotions into a kind of medieval cult sound that dances with tribal dub layers. After the jam, Weinrich mixed the captured notes, sounds, rhythms and singings into pristine tripping music, that avoids stylistic categorisations.
