Madrid-based ensemble Sinouj fuses the deep-rooted traditions of the Mediterranean with the driving force of contemporary jazz, funk, rock and West African grooves. This release shines a spotlight on 'Hak Dellali,' a traditional North African tune that first rose to fame in the 1980s thanks to Tunisian star Hedi Habbouba and later Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi. Backed with a psych-tinged and club-oriented remix by Berlin's Voodoocuts.
