The Souls Of Inspyration (orange)
At last, a long-overdue reissue of this overlooked gem from Quebec's The Souls of Inspyration. Originally released in 1970 on Columbia, the album blends melodic, organ-rich psych rock with acoustic folk touches and flashes of proto-prog. Tracks like "Eyes of Nature" and "Sun Shines in the Winter" show their pastoral side, while "Dil Kusha" and "Of Lambs and Wolves" push into heavier, more ambitious territory. Produced by Don Grashey and tied to Expo 70 in Osaka, the band had promise_but quickly faded. Now restored from master tapes and pressed on orange vinyl, this is a must for fans of late-era psychedelia with depth and range.
