Talking Heads
Demonstration Time
Many Heads fans would claim you haven't really heard early Talking Heads until you've heard the earliest Talking Heads. Still unsigned and in their early twenties, this first configuration of the Heads laid down the very first known recorded versions of such notable tracks as 'Psycho Killer,' 'Thank You For Sending Me An Angel,' 'I'm Not In Love' and fourteen other cuts, many later to feature on the band's debut and sophomore albums, albeit in 'finished' and very different versions, alongside 4 tracks unreleased in any version for many further years. Also included on this disc are early demo versions of songs recorded during additional sessions for the Talking Heads' first two albums, as well as for 'Fear Of Music' (1979) and a few early takes from the seminal 'Remain In Light' (1980).
