Varg I Veum

Varg I Veum is an electronic duo based in Naples, Italy consisting in Alessandra and Michele (former singer of post-punk act Hapax). The band combines coldwave's sonic paradigm with medieval folk elements, to build a multi-layered melancholic sound through domineering electronics and heavily reverberated vocal lines. The lyrics are largely inspired by the old norse poetry, but also by English romantics to some extent, restoring with new verses the ancient rhymes in a desolate monological maelstrom.
