Cha-cha Au Harem: Orientica France 1960-1964
It was France which welcomed Omar Sharif's first feature films outside of Egypt ('Goha', 'La Chatelaine Du Liban') in the 1960s, which inspired numerous artists to start composing and producing a delirious amount of music combining Latin and Middle Eastern influences. This style was catchy and tastefully arranged, and the genre's best tunes contain a delightfully old-fashioned charm. TRACKS: 01. Leo Clarens Et Ses Rythmes Orientaux - Cha Cha Cha Au Harem 02.
